My DH, even though he isn't a member of the board, is a quilter, and a pretty good one at that! He used to repair sewing machines, and he decided to learn to sew/quilt so that he could put the machines through all that they would be used for. His first quilt, which is a WIP, was a BOM, that was pretty advanced. He did great! It's fun to sit across the room from him and sew.
