Special software is not needed, but the fabric needs to be treated. There are special pretreated fabric mounted on a release paper available to feed through your printer. For those wanting to treat their own fabric, a product called bubble jet set is necessary. The ready for printing fabric, one name is printed treasures, is available from local quilt shops.

To find out more about printing on fabric, I would suggest doing a google search. I know that Ami Simms has some detailed information on her website. Try Amisimms.com. To be honest I can't remember if that the correct addy. She has done extensive testing of different products and has some great tips. Hopefully you will receive more ideas from other members.
