That was beautiful. Reminded me a lot of my own late parents. Although they both drove and died a lot younger, they both had a very simple outlook on life and enjoyed every minute of it.
Mom and dad died 5 months to the day apart.
I remember telling a friend, after he'd expressed his sympathy, that I missed them but had no regrets. There wasn't one hugged left "unhugged" or one "I love you" left unsaid. I miss them to this day but rejoice in the knowledge that I'll get to see them again someday and that I don't have to live with one iota of guilt.
