Yep, I had to unsew several times until I figured it out. Some days I'm not the brightest bulb in the socket....... :?: 8-) :lol:
I'm happy it worked for you. I know how long it takes to hand stitch, up until about 5 years ago, I did most of mine that way.

scant 1/4" part of the instructions. That means sew it just on the other side of the 1/4" mark. When I did that everything came out perfect.

If they do then I will know that the foot don't work right with this machine. She is a 1916 and just might not be able to use the foot.
