Hello everyone. I would like to try Sharon Schambers quilt basting technique. I wonder if any of you who have tried it had used flannel for your quilt back. I have 3 lap quilts with flannel backs waiting to be quilted. I know she recommends starching your backing really well but can you do that to flannel? Yes, I did make sure to wash the flannel first and it is a good quilter's grade flannel bought in a quilt shop. Thanks in advance for any advice and help.
