OH MY GOSH! Been there! lol
get a huge clear glass bowl, take the cakes and cut into bite size pcs. (scrape off gobs of frosting, you dont need to salvage all the cake, you just want the cake parts)Start to layer in the bowl, (forget frosting! it will kill you!) add: cake bites, strawberries, cool whip or whip cream, then the other cake bites (w/ choc cake I would drizzle a LITTLE choc sauce or choc like hersheys for making choc milk), another fruit (buy whatever is cheapest, I can usu find pineapple and banannas on sale) cool whip til u reach the top of the bowl. cover w/ whip & sprinkle w/ toasted coconut.
for an adult only cake, when you layer in the cake bites sprinkle cake w/ a little rum or orange liqueur
