When I cleaned my room, I just threw the bags containing ufo's in a bin...didn't even look to see what they were. So I've been grabbing bags out this week & got 5 done. It's fun to be surprised, to not even know what you're going to be working on until you open the bag...makes one WANT to finish! Just takes a little while to figure out where you were! Anyway, here are pics of the finished products. The denim vest was made with leftovers from an upside down jean jacket I made myself (best of both worlds--denim & quilt), & both the other vests were all started back in 1997. The machine covers were cut out but nothing else done to one, the other I had played with the decorative stitches on my Janome 9000, all back in 2001. I had gone to an estate sale about 6 months ago (a quilter) & rescued the block I put on the other cover, along with some of my MANY scraps. Will keep my machines cleaner & keep the afternoon sun off of them...which is why I wanted to make them in the first place. Still need to make covers for the Babylock serger & Viking Designer 1 & the Janome 6600 that will come home next month. Told you I had lots of ufo's!
