Oh my...well I'm glad it was just the quilt & you caught it. This is the 2nd post I've read in like a week regarding candle accidents. Glad I don't really use them, I'm always afraid the kitty will catch it's tail on fire!

Sniff Sniff......:( Sad day the quilt in my picture was on the end of the couch and on the end table a candle was burning. You can imagine what happened. Two burned holes later I have rescued it. My first thought was to never look at it again but I have since realized that I can mend it with applique. Which by the way is the last type of project I ever choose to do and most of my UFO's require some type of it.
