I made a cake years ago using a new recipe. When I took it out of the oven, it went totally flat and would not come out of the pan. I scraped it all into a bowl and looked at the recipe again. Comparing it to other recipes, I realized it was short 1 cup of flour. I made another and it came out beautiful. I frosted and decorated it. In the end, I threw most of the pretty cake out because everyone wanted the crumbs in the bowl. They were extra moist and tasted great - no frosting needed.
