I, too, have a lot of magazines that I tear up and file into sleeves and into 3-ring binders. One thing I think that justifies the expense and paper involved is this: patterns out here cost about $9-10 (a few even higher). Most magazines have 5-10+ patterns in them, so a magazine is actually worth much more than the subscription price. I try to keep only the patterns I think I will use, but like others have said, I'd have to live to be 500 years old to make all these quilts! But how nice it is when I'm looking for a Christmas project to open my holiday binder and have many choices!
