Your story touched me to, what a wonderful gift, you can carry on her good work and keep the tradition alive. My Mum has been an artist all her life, (folk type art) and at almost 80 she mostly just does cards now, some of her very own original designs I am going to work into a quilt one day, I have been collecting bits and pieces for it. She did sew but not a great deal, she did not make quilts but she thinks my idea of working her designs into a quilt is a good one. You are a very lucky lady!
