That was my thought. And/or freezing it. Sometimes freezing envelopes lets the glue lift from the paper. Sometimes not.
Or maybe something that could be sprayed on it, like Oops, (is that the name?) The liquid that takes labels off jars and cleans up solid spills?
No, probably not since it would most likely be greasy.
Okay, press the other part of the photo onto the glass and spray it with something that will preserve it forever, glued onto the glass.
Otherwise, frame it and pretend it never happened.
