Hello! Welcome to quilting! I think that for a first time quilt it is simply stunning! I remember when I started to learn how to create patchwork, I was on tenterhooks about the end result too...I have now come to accept that anything handmade is not necessarily going to be perfect and as long as I have made a decent effort to achieve a good result I will be happy. In any case, there is no right or wrong way to patchwork and quilting. A lot is dependent on what each person likes.
