SIDS has been brought up many times on this forum, usually when someone asks for a bumper or quilt pattern, as many people have not been educated about its causes. I will never apologize for providing information that could save a baby's life. I don't believe I did so in an inappropriate manner, either, nor have the many others who have provided similar information in similar threads in recent months. I don't think you should get so upset over learning information that will keep a baby safe. I hope you get what you want, and that your grandkids are safe.
Oh, and if you'll notice, I was directly responding above to someone's question about SIDS and keeping babies warm.

Is there a study whether those 27 dead babies (still I am very sorry about each of them) where laying in a crib that was restored by grandpa and stuffed with a handmade cribset from grandma? Born into a careing family with common sence enough not to let them freeze or grill in their crib.
I know there is this terrible SIDS but all I know is that not one single study came up with exact reasons why this happens.
It is also a fact that fear is a very bad advisor specially in raising children. I will, as I always have, trust in my common sence and in my believe that there is also something above us.
So unless you have a good idea for a quiltpattern please dont answer to this topic anymore.
