I think I was too excited about being almost done with my quilt top.
I decided to make my border HST's....so I cut a bunch of blocks, chain sewed them down the middle and then tried to cut them 1/4 inch away from the seam.

Renee, I am so laughing. I did the same thing once. But when they didn't fit the project I was doing (very very new quilter) I couldn't figure it out. I was JUST following the instructions, you know.... yeah, right. It took me a
couple days of puzzlin' over it, and then finally going back through the instructions step-by-step, piece by piece to finally figure it out. I laugh at it now. I mean,.... really,... how
