Katy quilter sent me this quilt..as soon as I pulled it out of the box I loved it..there is something so charming about scrap quilts that draws you in. I also love leaves and fall...great combo!
I decided to use a varigated thread by signature called "Corn Maze" perfect colors for a fall themed quilt. She and I discussed design ideas and this is what I came up with ...I did everything freehand on my Innova..no pantos or computers. OF course this fell under my January special of $1.75 a square foot.
I outlined all of her peiced leaves and then I quilted three different types of leaves surrounding all of them...and some loops and curly q's. I did falling leaves with a ribbon in the borders.
I hope she likes it!
