Here is what I've decided to do. I am using blocks C and D with a sashing made of the reverse side of the blue fabric--it sets the blocks off and adds some oomph to the quilt. I bought some more of the striped today so I can do a wide border with using both stripes and use mitered corners. I'll post a picture when I get the top together. That may take awhile! Thanks for all the input. It really did help me think through the quilt. I had decided the quilt needed sashing and had thought to use a light background fabric but did not have enough of it in my stash. I woke up in the night last night thinking that I didn't need more fabric, I just needed to turn over the blue I already had!
