I would do red or black then the stripe, then bind with the same red or black that you used for the first border. Black stripe black or red stripe red. (In my humble opinion). Cut a couple of strips of each and audition them - that's always the best way to select what kind of finish you want to put on a quilt. Good luck, it's going to be pretty whatever you choose to do.
