That is SO pretty. I agree with you...love to do the piecing and putting things together, but the machine quilting isn't my favorite thing to do. I need to improve my skills. I do like to hand quilt and my husband built me a gorgeous cherry quilting frame to encourage me to hand quilt more often.
I think I would sid around the pinwheels and then do something fancier in the plain areas.
