I was trying to find the "lava flow" and realized it's the pattern I did one of my Christmas table runners in. But I didn't get a picture of it Darn it.

Was your pattern called Lava Flow? When I googled it, I didn't find anything. Looks like it would be a good jelly roll pattern.

I saw a block in a quilting book that I liked, sketched it and went home and copied it. 8 strips the same size. No biggie. Well, each strip----finished---has to be twice as long as it is wide. So you've got complete control over the size. I'm doing a scrappy flannel in that pattern--------at least got it started.
