VERY nice quilt top. I'm a "ditcher" myself, so I would suggest that for this one you follow those nice seams to get you comfortable with guiding the quilt through the machine, etc. Then you'll have time to practice on the FMQ. And babegirl, that is one fine example. I would never have guessed that you started in the center. I promise myself to rig up some practice sandwiches and get to practicing.
