Reminds me of my dear mother---she too was relegated to using a chair and walker in the house but insisted on doing some things around the house. So she was allowed to do the laundry. I bought a hamper on wheels that she could roll to the laundry room. When she took clothes from the dryer she would roll them to her den to watch tv while she folded them. She used her walker to drape hanging clothes over so my sister could then hang them.
