Meredith, you might not want to buy a new iron but wanted to tell you about one that the Vermont Country Store sells. It is a dry iron with new wholes that gives you a smoother finish and just use a spray bottle of water if you want steam. I can't remember what professional teacher recommended the iron...I am thinking Harriet Hargrave. Here is the link:
