I can't remember what exactly inspired me to quilt. Around the time my friend was pregnat with her first child I somehow ended up deciding I was going to make a quilt for the baby. Suddenly I found myself looking through quilting magazines and books. Bought square templates and quite a bit of of black, red, and white fleece fabric (still have some of it sitting in a tub)...this was before the Wal-Mart Supercenter was built and we had a fabric section...and made a quilt from it. I was pretty much learning as I went. But I liked the end result and guess I kept coming up with ideas (a lot which I haven't done yet, unfortunatly) and kept going with it.
