K, so ideally, I would have wanted an extra row to make it rectangular, but I'm running out of patience and time, since this is a Christmas gift, and I have yet to do the borders, and put it together (obviously), AND I have a whole other quilt to make for my in-laws (!). So, I think I'm just going to leave it square. There will be an extra 12 inches all around since I'm putting a 4 and a 2 inch border on it, in plain blue and red, so basically it will be about 70" x 70"... that's ok to go on the back of a sofa, right?
Anyway, folks, let me know what you all think of it :) (be nice, I'm still a noob )
