strip piecing is great, but i recommend you divide your fabrics into fat quarters before cutting your strips. it's easier to get nice straight cuts when you aren't working with the whole width of fabric. it's also easier to control the strips as you feed them through the machine to help keep the seams straight.
That's a great idea. I did notice with the cat step one that it was easier to work with 20" strips.

Wow--ICs look like so much fun because of what you can do to the solid block. I think I'd want to use a big print I don't want to cut into smaller pieces. Those appliques are a neat idea--Barb. I love seeing the colors everyone picked.

Keep them coming, I know there are more out there. :D
