Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!! I went up to my father's house for Thanksgiving this year, and my grandparents live with him. I always take my kids (of course hehehe) so we get a lot of 4-generational family time together. Well 3 weeks ago the house they've been having built all year is DONE, and they moved in! So we were getting the grand tour of everything, and in my grandparent's closet, I saw two quilts up on the highest shelf. LOL!

I got them down and in a nutshell, I came home with TWO antique quilts made by my Great Grandmother in the 1920's!!!!!

I wish the quilts were labeled, but they're not. All I know is sometime in the 1920's. My Grandma was born in 1922 and her mother made them out of her baby/toddler clothes.

A Dresden Plate

Both are hand quilted and beautiful!
