Thank You-Thank You!!! Thank you for the perfect explanation. That's what I would have done, but I sometimes feel that it isn't the "right" way to do applique' work. Sometimes I zig-zag the edges, but more often I also do the blanket-stitch, either in matching thread, or contrasting color, or the invisible. You can get very creative with little pieces and details. Your Kitties looked perfect-you did an excellent job on the pictures! I'm so glad to find somebody who "creates" the same way I do.
