$4 x .80= $3.20 so it would be $7.20 a yard-I agree. Where I buy fabric, the fabric is $5.99 a yard and set in stone until it is gone and then my friend says she won't know yet what the new prices will be.
I too am thankful for my stash, but like RaptureReady said, if we had thought about the cost,we might not have had our kids either. There is fabric out there, we just need to be creative and find it. Our grandmothers quilted during the depression and made some beautiful quilts and they should be inspiration to us.
