I have walmart material all over my house in this that and the other thing. I was very upset that they took the material by the yard out of my local store and I told the manager so. The local Joann stores business has increased, so the girls have told me.
My local Walmart has also removed their bolts of fabric for pre-cut fabric.
I was in the next city (20 miles) and purchased fabric at their Walmart. I commented that ours had changed over and she said "Management said that due to Walmart being a discounted type store, that they couldn't get the fabric makers to cut their prices, and they were having trouble offering fabric at a low cost" She said they were going to remove their bolts too but didn't know when.
Bummers! It's hard to pay 7 or 8 dollars for fabric.
