Each drawer is 14" x 14" by 2 1/2" deep. I used 1/4" dowels that I cut into 1 1/2" lengths using pruning shears! I pre-marked the drawers, used a little hot glue and wait till cool. I hope it helps! that is one way to keep all my cottons stand up instead of for ever falling down when ever I get into the drawer. Thanks for the idea.
