It definately is not a power machine, but it does a nice job sewing. You cannot change feet, adjust the needle or any of that fancy stuff. It's just a real basic machine. Anything DD needs to do other than the basic piecing, she'll have to do on my 6600. I told DD if she really got into sewing, I'd get her a Threadbanger before she went off to college.
