My mom is a wiz at making clothes. She even made my sister's wedding dress from a picture! She taught me when I was in middle/high school, but I really don't like making clothes! Can't seem to get things to fit right. I talked to my mom last week and she said she really doesn't like to quilt, but will whip up a pair of pj's for my Dad when she's bored... funny isn't it? We'll see what DD ends up liking to do. My sister sews occasionally too, and she says she'd love to learn to quilt, but doesn't know if she can do it. They live on the other side of the country from me, but I'm going to work on her when she comes to visit for DD's graduation next June.
