The mole skin is great stuff. I use it on my machine. I can't sew a straight line to save my soul and I have trouble sewing 1/4" seams so I measured from my needle and then marked it with a black marker and I cut strips of the mole skin and place it on the lines and now I have straight seams that are 1/4" and when it gets bad looking I just replace it with new. Since I'm a new quilter this has really helped me.
Hi! You can do the same thing with Painter's Blue Masking tape & when you remove it, there is no residue.
