Hi all - here's a couple of cusions I made recently. The first one is QAYG and I made it as an 'experiment' because I'm going to be teaching this technique as a class in March and I wanted to see how long to allow, if it was viable etc etc.
The second one was a UFO - there was a BOM last year here on the board called Baltimore Bliss from Fat Cat Patterns (pattern available now to buy here
http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/Baltimore%20Bliss.html) and I rather ambitiously decided to do needleturn applique. :shock: Anyway I got up to five blocks then lost interest and put it away. I thought it was a shame to waste so much handwork so I hand quilted one of the blcoks and made it into this cushion. I plan to do the same with my other four. It's a nice little piece to hand quilt on my lap in the evenings. :-D
