A beginner? - that's a gorgeous quilt
I tend to buy 108" wide fabric from Marshall, usually 3 or 4 yards, depending on size of quilt. I've been quilting for 30+ years and am just tired of piecing backs. They're very reasonable on fabric prices and sell good quality.
