I lost my kitty several years ago, but he loved to suck on the velux blankets. Not sure if that is the right word, but it is the kind that are super soft.
I can't use the batting bar on my machine because my miniature poodle gets under it and rubs, trying to curl up in it until there is big hole. She has plenty of blankets so I don't know what the appeal of batting is.
