Austin is a fabulous city!! I'm so sorry you've had the rug pulled out from under you however. I've had that happen as well. Give Austin a chance. There are beautiful and numerous quilt shops, huge JoAns, great food, music of all kinds, lots of lakes,rivers, GREAT winter weather, hot summers for water sport types, great health care and lots and lots of friendly Texans.
