Sirus radio is real bad about that, as well. They give six months free. I say, fine and dandy. If I want it passed the six months, I will let you know. I never asked for the free six months and I shouldn't have to tell you that I don't want it anymore.
OMG, Sirius radio was AWFUL. I bought a new car, came with a few months. Awesome. As the free period ended, I had no intention of paying for radio. I received an automated call, transferred to a live person, and I told them (nicely) that I didn't want their service. They said no problem. Next day, I get another automated call - ignore. Next day, another. Talk to a person, tell them no. They say it's taken care of. A call per day for 2 weeks. At the end of week 1, I yelled, they said it was taken care of. Middle of week 2, I asked for the manager, yelled again, they said it was taken care of. End of week 2, I told them I was going to file a lawsuit for harassment, they transferred me to VP of something or other, who emailed heads of whatever, and I didn't get a call again. Frickin' insane that it took 2 weeks of that silliness
