Myself,I like to be thrifty. The older magazines at the thrift have the same New patterns. I have a book from 1940 and I have found the same patterns listed as New on the stand.

That's what I'm doing as well....I haven't re-newed any subscriptions and I will buy a mag from the newsstands, but only after reviewing it. I've found some at thrift stores as well. It does reduce the clutter and you only buy a mag if it's worthwhile.
