I finally got around to posting these. My mom gave me a bunch of fat quarters for Christmas, so I was more or less playing around. If you notice, bottom left block is slightly smaller than the others. I basically lined it up to the center, then put wide sashing on the outside. When I joined the four squares, I just cut it to square up the whole thing before adding the borders. Since it's for me, and I'm still learning, I thought it would be a shame to throw it out.

The whole thing happened because it turns out that my 8" square template is actually 8.5". That wouldn't have been a problem except I also used another ruler as well.

But overall, I'm happy with it and the colorfulness of it.
