Are you doing hexagons and putting them in a diamond shape? or using diamond shape templets? If you are doing hexagons, I think it might be nice to use 2 rows of color around the white center, then the green path. I have not done a diamond shape hexagon yet, but it is going to be my next project. You might like this site.
