I made this lap quilt for my MIL for her 82nd birthday. She's undergoing treatment for cancer, so I used a light batting, so she could take it with her if she wanted. She loves purple and pink, so I did a D9P with batiks. The camera doesn't really shop up the colors well, but it gives you the idea. I also had a contemporary rose design quilted on it. It shows up better on the back. I just love working with batiks! (This is my first time posting, so hopefully it works)
