I've noticed that when I start a quilting project, I'm very fussy and precise at first, determined to strive for quality of workmanship. But as time goes on (and I get bored? tired of the same project?) my work gets sloppier and sloppier...so that when I get to the actual quilting phase, I'm just in a hurry to get it done, and so I don't put the effort that the quilt deserves.

Does anyone else find that?

I'm much better at smaller projects...
