Most of my quilts are gifts or donations quilts. I finished one for a new baby and was getting ready to send it off to the happy mom, and my husband came in and asked if we really had to send it away, cause he liked it so much. I was so surprised and pleased that he wanted to keep it! I said of course we can keep it, then I went on a "crazy train" for a couple weeks making a new one to send to the baby. I have one now, in my UFO pile, that I must do next. It's for us, and it keeps getting put to the back of the line!
I take photos of all I do, and write a little about them in my scrapbook. This is because I have 2 quilts from my Grandmothers, and wish they had done the same. I have so many questions for them, and they've both been gone for many years.
