I'd choose a simple pattern and cut and sew very carefully. Because of the glaze, there is no give in the fabric and you can't adjust by stretching or easing. Do not try an eight pointed star - ask me how I know. It's my only UFO because it just wouldn't lay in nicely. Of course, it was also my first star, so there may have been more than one problem.

It will make a pretty quilt. Does JoAnn's still have the moire in polished cotton? That would go well with it. I have some dark blue, but it's buried.
