I just finished this, based on a pattern called "postage stamp quilt" I found at http://www.modabakeshop.com/2010/12/...uilt.html#more

I had a jelly roll of Caribbean Blue batiks, that I couldn't figure out how to use, when I saw this pattern. I separated the strips into purplish-blue, greenish-blue and light blue. I machine-quilted a grid about 1/8 inch from all the seams.

It made me want to get back to my favorite beach, so I finished the quilting with pictures of things you find on the beach, including my favorite shell, the Wentletrap.

What do you think?
