Get you some fabric with fruits on it. Start with oranges...and make you some little quilt sandwiches out of it and go slowly around each orange until you feel you have control. You have to find your "control rhythm" When you get comfortable with that go to something smaller like cherries. Remember to slow your machine down and remember to STOP and take your foot off the petal when you need to decide where to go next...but try and train yourself to think ahead and look ahead of the needle.
Great advice! I'll give it a try as soon as I figure out which foot I am suppose to use and how to drop the feed dogs on my machine! Thanks!
