This is the kind of quilt that should be photographed, appraised, documented, and labeled! Think of the feelings we have when we look back on commemorative quilts of 100 years ago; this one is well on it's way toward that stature for the next generation. Find a way to label it with the story you've told us; a museum someday will thank you. It's wonderful!

I second that!!!! Be sure you document with first & last names & their relation to you. Include as much information as you can. Beautiful quilt, such a treasure for you to have!! Enjoy it!!
