That is what they are. Paper snowflakes made to fabric. There is no reason one cannot make a snowflake design. Hawaiian quilts are supposed to be one of a kind quilts. I am going to make an 18 inch one with freezer paper to help cut it out. I baste it on through the freezer paper, remove the paper, the applique it on.
